Third Day in Berlin

Nothing like going to the Anmeldung (registration office)
to register and hearing those 2 beautiful words: Näschste Woche!
(next week for those who don’t speak German)
And so, I decided to tour the city a bit, after a small walk in Alexanderplatz,
And taking a couple of shots there:
I’ve stumbled upon a Tour, the Alternative Tour that is.
Naturally I joined the tour - first stop was Hackescher Markt
After we got out of the S-bahn, we went on to the most beautiful Urban-Art sightings I've ever seen.
It reminded me of Amsterdam, and of course, of my last trip to Berlin.
We went on to the Tacheles Squat, filled with Political Art and Led Zeppelin (FTW) Music.
And on to a place with Graffiti on the walls of the buildings, Criticism of The Media.
The Free Mind:
Criticism about the Fall of the Wall:
I also took shots of some stunning wall paintings,
The story goes that the neighborhood was a very poor one.
A couple of artists decided to help with what they could,
so they drew on the walls:
A tribute to a friend:
Do you remember, the time and the place,
When taking a picture was a disgrace,
To try and capture a moment, so divine,
Is an unnatural substitute of its kind.
