First day German Course
Today was my first day at the German Course.
I find it really interesting that we speak only German and nothing but.
It’s not unusual considering the fact that I’m speaking almost only German
around here, but it is surprising that we do it on a course..
We don’t have much of a choice though - everyone has a different
mother language anyway.
The other students are very nice and friendly,
they come from all over the world (originally, now they all live in Berlin):
France, Spain, Italy, Syria, Japan, and even Israel (that’s me)!
We talked about the games we play in our countries
(part of the lesson..) and I had the chance to explain
the game of Taki, which wasn’t easy without the special card deck.
The course is every weekday, 4 hours a day.
With my job, the gym, and all the regular house chores,
I will have very little time to keep on writing..
In fact, this post was written while I was sitting
in the laundry mat waiting for my clothes to dry
(stupid dryer, always takes more than 1 turn to really dry your clothes)..
Anyways, if I really know myself, I’ll make time :)
