In the fiercely competitive world of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), a drama unfolds as Hashicorp turns its back on Open Source. This results in an immediate fork to Terraform, the dominant cross-cloud IAC tool. The OpenTofu project is created in an effort to provide an Open Source alternative that supports Terraform’s ingenious way of managing cloud infrastructure.
